Ana Rivera

Ms. Rivera joined our school in 2016 as a Lead teacher in Primary III. Previously, she worked at a Montessori school in Homestead Florida for thirteen years where she developed her passion and pursued her Montessori Training at MTTI in Miami, Fl. She truly believes in the Montessori method and feels it’s the best for children.

Originally from Cali, Colombia, Ms. Rivera lived most of her life in Miami, Florida before re-locating to North Carolina. She has a 22 year old son who is currently in college. He attended the Montessori school she used to work at from 6 months old until he reached middle school.

In her free time, Ana enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures and customs, as well as taking walks with her dog Storm.  She has recently found a love for meditation and self-reflection. Ana is always learning and looking for new ideas to incorporate into the classroom.
