MS in Educational Theory & Practice | BA in Spanish Language & Sociology

Jessica is originally from Warwick, NY a small town in New York State, just outside of New York City. She and her husband relocated to Charlotte in 2013 from New York’s Capitol, Albany, NY to be closer to her family who had all moved south to escape the chilly north. Prior to joining Charlotte Montessori school, Jessica worked in higher education, the last five years at UNC Charlotte where she was the Director of the Office of Intercultural and Educational Experiences. There, she led a team who developed custom programs for professionals in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to education, business, entrepreneurship, language learning and beyond.

With birth of her boy-girl twins in 2017, Jessica’s passion for education pivoted from the University level to early childhood. Jessica’s leadership experience along with her expertise in designing and implementing quality and robust educational experiences, are just some of the strengths she brings to our team.

As Head of School, Jessica has a passion for supporting our teachers, maintaining our excellence in high-quality early education programing and partnering with our wonderful families and team members to deliver an incredible Montessori education and experience.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys exploring spending time with her family including their much-loved schnoodle, Ms. Penny, working in her garden, reading a good book, cooking new recipes, eating exciting cuisines from around the world and doing anything outdoors, preferably near the lake or other body of water.
