CharMont Gives Back collected pajamas this week for Levine’s Children Hospital. As a school, we try to find charities and ways to give back to the community that the children can connect with.
To kick off the week we had a PJ Day…a fun start to the collection of pajamas!
It’s always fun to eat lunch in pjs, work in pjs and much more cozy to sleep in pjs!
In the spirit of Montessori, Peace is an integral part of the curriculum. In the classroom and as a school, we want to help protect this spirit of peace in the children. “Children often act with a free, joyful generosity seldom observed in adults.” What a great service to our children to provide these opportunities to help others. Thank you for participating in the service to our community! We were able to donate 105 pairs of pajamas to Levine’s Children’s Hospital!
“Establishing lasting peace is the work of education,” Montessori wrote in conversations with Gandhi years ago. Collectively, their work made a difference in their world. So too will ours.
