Drive-Thru Christmas Carmel Presbyterian
The annual Carmel Presbyterian Drive-Thru Christmas is a dramatic representation of the major events related to the birth of Jesus Christ. Beginning with the biblical account of the prophecy of Christ’s birth and ending with the in the manger celebrating the birth, the eleven live scenes depict the greatest story ever told. Involving a large cast, these scenes depict the biblical significance of the baby in a manger. Come experience a living representation of the story that led to God’s gift of salvation. Drive Thru Christmas is experienced from the comfort of your car. Guest should enter from the Carmel Road entrance. Upon arriving you will be directed to the line of cars waiting to enter the beginning of the scenes. If there is a wait do not worry. Carmel will host free WiFi to help make the time go by quickly. Also, interactive Christmas games and clips will be available through our website to occupy your children. Look for directions to login upon your arrival.
Breakfast with Santa NASCAR Hall of Fame

Story Time & More Wing Haven Gardens and Bird Sanctuary
Join Rutherford Rabbit to enjoy a seasonally themed story and take-home craft activity in the Children’s Garden. Children can water our vegetable plants, dig for worms, explore our sensory and butterfly gardens, and enjoy the Wing Haven chickens. Children, chaperone your parent or guardian. Feel free to bring a snack or picnic lunch and extend your stay in the garden. Recommended for children under 10, but all are welcome!

SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium
Take advantage of a great deal for parents with young children each Tuesday at SEA LIFE! One FREE child with the purchase of an adult ticket. Adult ticket only $15. Holidays at the Garden Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens

Gather around the crackling fire to warm your hands or roast a marshmallow, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, grab a treat and warm beverage as you tour the glistening displays, visit with Santa, shop for thoughtful holiday gifts in The Garden Store, enjoy holiday music, and so much more.
Polar Express Train Ride
North Carolina Transportation Museum, Salisbury
Capturing the magic of the Chris Van Allsburg book and runaway hit movie from Warner Bros., THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride features a train ride with dancing chefs, cookies, hot chocolate, and a presentation of the first gift of Christmas-a silver bell for all those who truly have the spirit of the season. The train ride and associated activities include popular characters from the holiday tale, the conductor, the hobo, the boy in the story, and of course, Santa Claus. The event takes place across the museum’s 60 acre site, with Reindeer Games and entertainment before the ride, s’mores, and our post-ride children’s play area, “Candy Cane Lane.”
WBT’s Holiday on Ice NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza
Charlotte’s Outdoor Ice Rink is located on the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza. Perfect for families, date nights or fun outings with friends, Holiday on Ice has become a beloved tradition in Charlotte. Skaters and non-skaters will all want to have their picture taken with our giant polar bear or under the 39 foot tree

Speedway Christmas returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway from 6-10 p.m. nightly through December 31 (closed Christmas Day). The Christmas light show is bigger and better in its seventh year, with more than 3 million lights along a drive-thru 3.75-mile course!
In addition to your ticket, you can choose to purchase a “Fastpass” for $10 which provides you a shorter wait time to get into the Christmas Light Show.
Adding even more family fun, every Thursday-Sunday (and all Christmas week) the show also includes a Christmas village with a petting zoo, Bethlehem village, horse-drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa, and much more.
Thursday through Sunday nights, starting at 6:30PM with a second showing right after the first, come see Christmas classics like “A Christmas Story” and “Frozen” During the “FOX 46 Movie Nights” on the giant 16,000-square-foot Speedway TV!
