We teach our children how to be independent, confident and respectful with themselves and others but most importantly we need to be aware that we should live a sustainable life in love for our mother earth so our children can continue to prosper on this beautiful planet.
We are all facing really important times not only for our personal growth but we can see the consequences of our neglecting, ignoring attitude towards our beloved mother Earth.
Its time to take responsibility and make changes as simply and small as they may seem.
We can all change little things in our daily lives leaving a huge impact.
Changes start at home with every single one of us making different decisions.
(Reducing plastic as much as possible, waste in general, buying groceries in bulk, being aware where our food is coming from, buy locally …)
Our children are watching every step of our way and what a great opportunity to help them understand what we are doing matters.
Taking the time explaining to them why we are doing this and how they can help as well.
Encouraging them to bring their water bottles, taking them to farmers markets, treating all their works at home respectfully so they last a long time, reading books about the environment, cleaning up beaches, rivers etc whatever we feel like we should do.
There are so many things we can do as an individual and as a community.
Just take a moment and think about how you would like to change not only for yourself but for many future generations to come.
We are all connected and its our privilege to live here.
We are constantly learning from each other whether we are aware of it or not.
Together we can make different choices, chose other ways and leave a huge impact on our children.
One of the wonderful things about humans is that we were blessed with our own will and critical thinking.
Its time that we use it to support and help each other by taking steps towards a more environmentally conscious approach.
Its on us to wake up and protect what was given to us a gift so our future generations can enjoy the beauty, abundance, and miracles that we might take for granted now.
One of my favorite quote
Only when the last tree has died
and the last river been poisoned
and the last fish been caught
will we realize we cannot eat money
cree indian proverb
May the peace be within you
