Grecia Lucero

Grecia has been part of the Montessori community since 2017, working in roles from afternoon coordinator to assistant, and now as a Lead Guide here at Charlotte Montessori. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UNC Charlotte and received her AMI diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute.

Originally from Mexico, Grecia grew up in Charlotte and is fluent in Spanish, which she enjoys incorporating into songs, conversations, and daily routines. She is deeply passionate about staying true to Maria Montessori’s vision by creating a peaceful, beautiful, and child-centered environment where independence and a love of learning naturally thrive.

Outside the classroom, Grecia loves caring for plants, spending time outdoors, having slow mornings and spending time with family.
