Hermela Tesfaye

Ms. Hermela’s passion for early childhood education began while helping her mother care for children after becoming a teacher when their family moved to the US from Ethiopia. Over the years, Hermela has worked as a teacher’s assistant with infants and young children, an art teacher at the YMCA, a church youth leader, and a caregiver for individuals with special needs. She loves creating environments where children feel empowered to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. 

Outside of teaching, Hermela enjoys exploring her creativity through painting, singing, and photography.
