Jenny Formon

Ms. Formon joined the school in 1995 and earned her B.S. in Math from Mary Washington College, in Virginia. She happened upon Montessori as an after school job in high school – working at the Springs Montessori in Virginia.  Ms. Formon is originally from Virginia, and moved to Charlotte with husband, Kory.  Ms. Formon has three children: Mason, Tabitha and Whitney. All of her children are alumni of Charlotte Montessori School. Her youngest just graduated from Myers Park High School And is heading to College of Charleston. Her second daughter is in her third year at Flagler College, studying and playing softball. Her son graduated from Appalachian State in December 2019. He currently lives and works in Charlotte. She attributes many of their successes to the foundations in Montessori.

Ms. Formon is enthusiastic about sharing Montessori with others. She enjoys presenting workshops, conferences and is a contributing writer for Age of Montessori Blog. In her free time, Ms. Formon enjoys spending time with friends and family, sewing, gardening and biking.
