Marcia Gomez

Ms. Marcia, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, has lived in Charlotte for the past 10 years. With over 18 years of experience working with children, her passion for early childhood education has been a guiding force in her career. Although she first earned a degree in Food Engineering, her true vocation led her to pursue specialized studies in early education, including diplomas in mathematics pedagogy for toddlers and the development of pedagogical creativity using mind maps. Her background in science allowed her to begin teaching science to preschool and primary students. In Colombia, she also gained valuable experience working for over five years in a Montessori school, further deepening her commitment to child-centered learning. Marcia is devoted to nurturing young minds and looks forward to continuing her work with young children, serving as a positive role model in their lives.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys baking delicious pastries, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her beloved family.
