Sarah McCowan

Ms. McCowan holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte and brings over 15 years of experience in Montessori education, including 13 years at Charlotte Montessori School. She is credentialed in both Infant/Toddler and Primary Montessori education and is a certified AMS trainer. In addition to her classroom experience, Ms. McCowan is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Early Childhood Educator, having led numerous workshops to support and equip both parents and educators. She currently serves as Vice President of Montessori Education Programs International (MEPI) and has been a dedicated member of its Board of Directors for six years.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. McCowan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Franklin and Phillip, as well as reading and traveling.
