Jessica Jacobs

Ms. Jessica was born in Washington state to military parents, and then raised on the tiny island of Guam where her mother is from. After graduating from high school, Jessica moved to Denver, Co. for the next ten years. Once she decided she wanted to experience the east coast, Jessica settled in South Carolina. She went to finish her bachelor’s degree at USC in History, with a special focus in Education.  While finishing her degree, Jessica began working at a Montessori school. It was there she discovered Montessori, and her passion for the philosophy.

Most recent Jessica has been an Assistant Teacher in a Primary classroom in Columbia, SC.  She will complete her AMS Primary Montessori training this summer and is excited to begin this new Primary V classroom at Charlotte Montessori.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys being outdoors, reading, listening to music (preferably live music), and watching documentaries with her two dogs, Jazz and Zelda.
